Peter's Nutshell Story

Peter grew up in a NW suburb of Chicago, Carpentersville. He went to high school at Barrington High School, community college in Palatine, IL at William Rainey Harper College. Peter then spent his junior and senior years of college at The University of Illinois, or Urbana-Champaign. In between his freshman and sophomore year in college at Harper, Peter dove into a shallow lake and broke his spinal cord and became a C5/C6 quadriplegic. But it never stopped him in life! After college, he packed his van and drove to Los Angeles where it is warm year round! After a little bit of time, he stumbled into the entertainment industry (not hard to do in Los Angeles) and started working in development at Film Production companies. After a couple of years of that, Peter broke away to become an independent producer and subsequently produced films, theater, short films and music videos. In 2017, Peter switched it up and embraced the tech startup, entrepreneurial world and became a cofounder at the video collaboration app now called Zigzag on iOS. After 2 1/2 years there… Peter decided to start living the life of an artist... mouth painting for the MFPA (Mouth & Feet Painting Artists) and writing screenplays. He still dabbles in producing a little bit here and there and also enjoys editing for Team Justice and other passion projects and endeavors.

I don't necessarily love eating donuts, although I do enjoy a good donut… But it feels like I only have a donut a few times a year. There's just something about the "essence" of donuts that has always spoken to me ever since I was young. I actually took a job at the Dunkin' Donuts in my high school town for one summer under disguise just to be close to donuts. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to open a donut shop. I suppose that would mean I would start eating a lot more donuts!
